Robert George Tilley
Robert George Tilley was born on 9 March 1911 in Loxton, Somerset, the second eldest child of Edward Tom and Ada Margaret [Look] Tilley.
He married Joyce Mary Dugdale on 19 November 1946 in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset. George died on 1 April 1959 in his hometown at the age of 48.
George is on the right with his sister Barbara, born 1912, and Jim, born 1910, and his parents Ted and Margaret Tilley.
Joyce Dugdale married Robert George, the second son of Ted and Margaret Tilley, on 19 November 1946.
The probate of Robert George Tilley shows he died in Loxton, Somerset, on 1 April 1959.

In the 1911 census, George is under a month old living in Loxton, Somerset, with his older brother Jim and his parents Ted and Margaret Tilley.
George and his brother Dick are assisting his parents on the farm in the 1939 census. Also living with them is their cousin Naomi, daughter of Arthur Herbert Tilley, who is in the Women's Land Army.
